REBA KESSLER CHESIN
(nee Bogoslafsky) June 12, 2011. The 94 year life journey has ended. Reba was the last surviving child of Fannie and Samuel, the original owners of the Bogoslafsky Bakery at 505 S. 5th St. Reba will lovingly be remembered by her sons Allan Kessler (Sandra), Victor "Skip" (Barbara) Kessler, her daughter, Debra Kessler, and Reba's constant 4-legged companion, Jake. Her 9 grand-children and spouses, along with her 14 great grandchildren and her great-great grandson will also miss their Little Nanny. Services were Private.

Mom was born in West Virginia, grew up in Monessen PA, lived in Florida, Philadelphia and Belle Vernon. Is remembered buy her husband, daughter, three sons and grandchildren. Mom moved to Philadelphia to become a show girl, won the Miss Duke Tire pageant and then moved back to the Mon Valley to be close to her family. Raised four children, has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She liked being with friends, going to Mexico for vacation, having people over, holidays and laughing. |

Charles J. Hershberger, 66, of Scottdale, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 in Harmon House Care Center, Mt. Pleasant. He was born December 25, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant a son of the late Charles P. and Irene V. (Petrosky) Hershberger.
Chuck was self-employed and operated lawn service in the area. He was also a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Pletcher; two children, Jennifer Whipkey and husband Jason; a son, James Hershberger; three grandchildren, Jason, Jr.; Johnathan and Noel; a sister, Nancy Eck; a brother, Thomas Hershberger and his special friends, David Coles and Linda Berkey and son, Don.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Hershberger.
